Zy's Stanley visits Las Vegas

Hi Zyontae, Mrs. Weatherford, and friends,

Flat Stanley has been on an adventure to Las Vegas, but his fun time with us is not over.  His Chicago trip is scheduled for April 13.  I have a collection of items he will be going home with.

I have included photos from the airplane with the flight attendants and the captain(pilot in white shirt), visiting Las Vegas, exercising on my Pilates equipment, helping the cable man fix our internet. Stanley is trying out a lot of things trying to decide what he wants to be when he grows up.

Rockford, IL is home of the sock monkey.

Stanley had to go through security at the airport.

Fasten your seatbelt Stanley.

Stanley visits with the Captain of the plane.

Buckled in and ready to go!

Enjoy your flight Stanley.

Stanley looks at the turtles. Don't fall in!

Pretty flowers.

I hope Stanley had a Cheeseburger in Paradise!

Resting after all his fun!

Ceasar's Palace in Las Vegas.

Even on vacation Stanley was trying to figure out if he wanted this to
be his career when he grows up.

More Las Vegas sites

Stanley met Mickey who was also vacationing
in Las Vegas.

There are some amazing sites in Las Vegas.

Continuing Michigan Adventures

Well I am preparing to come home and thought I would send a few more pictures.  We took a long walk around Detroit and boy what a windy day it was.  Mrs. Allison affixed me to a piece of cardboard so that I would not blow away in the wind.  Here I am - notice the renaissance center behind me.

This is outside of Comerica Park.  That's where the Detroit tigers baseball team play.

Look behind me that's inside the park.  Can you find home plate?

This is Mrs. Allison's friend - she tried to get this tiger to eat me!!

But he turned on her and kept me safe.

Then we went to The Hard Rock Cafe.  This is a stained glass window on the building.  Detroit is home to a rich music history, where many musicians began their career.

Next we walked past a really neat sculpture of a giant fist.  This picture shows the story and the next is the picture of the fist.

So thats it for now.  I will be home soon.  Thanks for sending me here.
This picture below is me looking across the Detroit river at Canada.

I will bring a special surprise with me.
Be good, and I will see you soon.
Your friend,
Stanley.

More Flat Stanley Adventures in NH & MA

I brought Stanley to a fancy dinner at my friend's house.  He's an award winning chef!

Stanley wanted some of my cheese plate.  He didn't care for the blue cheese and I wouldn't let him have any port wine ;)

After dinner we went out and sat around the chiminea.  A chiminea is a clay open fire garden heater.  It was really cozy and helped keep the bugs away.

I took Stanley to Sam & Max's pinewood derby races.  Here is Stanley with all the cool pinewood derby cars.

Sam & Max stuck Stanley in a rocket!

Sam & Max both won trophies.  Sam got third place (out of three cars! haha) and Max got coolest car!

We took Stanley back to Haverhill, MA and took this picture in front of a brass elk.

Here's Stanley in front of Winnekenni Castle.  This castle was built as someones summer home in 1875.

I took Stanley back to work with me.  Here he is before getting on the subway.  I take the Orange Line to work everyday.  Those trains go under Boston and pop back up on the other side :)

Stanley is having a wonderful time with his new friends.
